Jason discusses his family’s impact on his musical trajectory. Jason discusses the role music has played within the church. There is discussion on the impact Covid 19 has on Church and Church music. Jason discusses the problem of stereotypical watered-down form in worship music. Jason proposes implementation of new interactive technologies in worship experiences.

Jason is a friend of Jacob’s who also happens to be the Chaplain at La Sierra University, a small Christian University in Southern California. He is a multi-instrumentalist and worship leader. Jason draws influences from 90s grunge, funk, jazz, and black-gospel music. Despite which belief system a person belongs to or doesn’t belong to, the Church is an example of an institution that has historically embraced the power of music.
